• Jan'12 Dr. Zhang is coauthoring a book chapter, "Direction-of-Arrival Estimation of Nonstationary Signals,"  with Dr. Moeness Amin, for the Array Signal Processing section of the upcoming Elsevier E-Reference Signal Processing.

• Jan'11 The Center for Advanced Communications is awarded the "Intelligent Remote Sensing for Urban Warfare Operations (Phase II)" project from DARPA.  Dr. Zhang is a Co-Principal Investigator of this project.

• Dec'10 Book chapter "Image and localization of behind-the-wall targets using linear and distributed apertures," coauthored by Dr. Zhang and Dr. Alan Hunt, is published in book, Through the Wall Radar Imaging, edited by Dr. Moeness Amin and published from the CRC Press.

• Sep'10 Dr. Zhang is the Principal Investigator of the "Next-Generation Over-the-Horizon HF Radar (NGOTHR) Moving Target Indicator (MTI) and Clutter Mitigation Development" project awarded by the AFRL.

• Sep'10 Book chapter "Principles and techniques of RFID positioning," coauthored by Dr. Zhang and his colleagues, Dr. Xin Li and Dr. Moeness Amin, is published in book, RFID Systems, Research Trends and Challenges,  published from Wiley.

• Mar'10 Villanova University leads a partnership which is awarded an NSF project "Partnerships for Innovation in Acoustic and Ultrasound Technologies for Medical and Industrial Applications".  Dr. Zhang is a Co-Principal Investigator of this project.
